Lizzie Thomson is an independent artist working across dance, visual arts and contemporary performance practices. We met in the morning sun at Rushcutters Bay (near Critical Path) and spoke about:

-the process getting from an idea to a thing
-thinking in language
-having a “texta practice”
-being excited by words
-synesthesia as a super power
-doing as a form of thinking
-”its expected we begin with the word and then we realize the world” LT
-words as help to know what you’re doing
-the body exhibited as an object
-dance is super powerful
